Abalone is a natural material and exact appearance (color, design) will vary.

For "spreaders" we normally recommend buying a size smaller than you wear to ensure being able to get them in over the large flare. HOWEVER with this design, almost everyone should be able to buy the size they wear as long as you are accustomed to wearing double flares (you'll need to pass the back teardrop through your piercing and those are almost 1 size larger, much as any normal double flare plug is). If your default choice is a single flare plug/tunnel, you should consider buying a size smaller
